- Comic/Visual Narrative manuscripts will not be considered without artwork.

- We are now charging a $15 submission fee for Poetry and Fiction manuscripts. This fee will help us keep publishing your excellent works.

Baobab Press seeks novellas (Fiction/ 18k to 35k words) from woman-identifying individuals for an anthology of female voices. The disparate narratives and alternative perspectives in this anthology will empower readers to find connections that correlate, challenge, and otherwise engage in identifying and promoting female agency. We are looking for work whose ideas and experiences will illustrate nuances specific to the narrative while illuminating the larger struggle, past, present and/or future, of carving out space for female voices in American society.
Please do not send anything that has previously appeared in another anthology, story collection or has been previously published elsewhere.
